The American Baroque Opera Company will take over Winspear Opera House’s Hamon Hall this weekend with The Elements A reconstruction of Rebel’s Les Elemens with selections of Michel-Richard Delalande’s 1721 opera of the same name, The Elements will be performed in collaboration with Ballet Dallas. Modern ballet choreography will augment the visual components of the performance.
As a part of the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s “Elevator Project,” this program furthers ABOC artistic director Eric Smith’s mission of bringing fresh life to little-known selections from the Baroque period and presenting them in new, innovative spaces.
